SLAMR bot

SLAMR bots, aka units of the Synchronous Landing Advanced Mechanized Regiment, were the first line of any Earth invasion force in the generations long war against the Dxlyccr Emperium. SLAMRs were heavily armored and programmed to overrun enemy lines and secure strategic areas before the arrival of human forces. However, as the war progressed the cost of manufacturing SLAMRs grew too outweigh their usefulness, especially once the military implemented the voluntary augmentation program for its soldiers. Now that the war is over, there are still a few of these antiquated bots roaming the galaxy in service to mercenary squads.
